Event Dates & Hours

FRIDAY APRIL 13th from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM &
SATURDAY APRIL 14th from 12:00 noon - 6:00 PM
You must be 19 years or older to purchase tickets or to attend the event - please be sure to bring 2 pcs of identification (1 being photo ID)
Sample tokens will be sold at the event and are good for beverage and food samples

Refunds or exchanges are not available. Patrons were responsible for verifying the day of the ticket they have purchased.

People's Choice and Industry Choice Awards
Each year patrons of the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale have the opportunity to vote towards 'The People's Choice Awards'. Winners are chosen from the ballots that patrons submit during the event. Ballots are added up and the winners are announced just prior to the end of the event on Saturday. All attending patrons receive one ballot slip, with their souvenir glass. Each ballot slip lists the five categories: Best Beer, Best Beverage, Best Booth, Best Band and Best Food.
Since 2004, the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale Society has also be host to the 'Industry Choice Awards', where three (3) industry judges sample
the micro-brews at the event. The winners are chosen on the basis of the following industry accepted point system and
categories: Aroma (12); Appearance (3); Flavour (20); Mouth Feel (5); Overall (10) for a total of 50 points.

Proceeds from this community event:
The net proceeds from this community event are gifted to various qualifying Registered Charitable Organizations. The OFOA Board of Directors gather for a post-event meeting in July of each year to review the applications received and gift available funds to qualifying and deserving applications. The application process takes place between May 1st and June 15th each year. For more information on Charity Requests.
