2011 Brewers and Products
Who are they? Brewpubs, Microbreweries and Regionals. Brewpubs are very small breweries making only enough beer for consumption in the adjoining bar or restaurant, with some bottled off-sales. A microbrewery generally means a new-generation brewery sometimes not much larger than a brewpub, selling to the local market. A regional brewery may be old-established, or a new kid on the block, but with production larger enough to supply as much as several provinces or states.

Alpine Munich Märzen (1 token) – is a classic Bavarian “Märzen” with a rich malty aroma. This amber-colored and full-flavored lager beer is brewed from a classic recipe. A conditioning time of 6 to 8 weeks guarantees the exceptional balance, smoothness and full body typical of true German beers.
Alpine Bohemian Pilsner (1 token) – is a golden colored, full bodied example of this popular beer. A very slight maltiness is balanced with a generous dose of noble hops, which gives this beer a wonderful hoppy aroma without making it too bitter. Extremely “süffig” (quaffable).
Alpine HefeWeizen (1 token) – The hefeweizen style is particularly noted for its low hop bitterness (about 15 IBUs) and relatively high carbonation – enjoy!

Classic Draft Lager (1 token) - A traditional lager of the highest standards, is called Classic Draft because of the complex brewing process required to produce this premium draft. Our Classic Draft is fermented slowly and aged in cool rooms for a full eight weeks. A crisp, refreshing, smooth classic taste for easy drinking.

Squire Scotch Ale (1 token) – For decades the Country Squire restaurant was a fine dining restaurant in Naramata. Following its fine example and carrying its name, Squire Scotch Ale is rich in both flavour and tradition.

Red Racer India Pale Ale (IPA) (1 token) – A style of ale fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British Colonization. Hops, hops, and more hops! This ale has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. A beer for the connoisseur, this is the Brewmasters choice.
Red Racer ESB (Extra Special Bitter) (1 token) – The use of crystal malt lends to this beers flavour and colour profile. Packed with hops from the Northwest and United Kingdom, this is our original take on the Classic English Bitter.
Red Racer White Ale (1 token) – Traditionally cloudy, this Belgium style White Ale is brewed with corinader seed and dried orange peel producing a beer light in body with a refreshing citrus-spice aroma.

Red Branch Irish Ale (Certified Organic, cask-conditioned) (1 token) – Cask-conditioned, served on a traditional English beer engine. A classic Irish ale, ruddy with caramel malts. Mild, clean and gentle, with just enough hops to balance the beer. This is a daily sipper, less carbonated to allow for more enjoyment. A great starting place for the festival and for any meal. Made in Sorrento at Canada's first organic and sustainable on-farm brewery. 4.7% alcohol 25 IBU
Insurrection Organic IPA - First public release of new beer! (1 token) - If you tasted our 10th Anniversary IPA, you'll be ready for the Insurrection. Break out the guillotine and raise the Red Flag to celebrate hops! Dry-hopped with plenty of our own farm-grown Cascade hops, it's got buckets of aromatic bitterness with a dry, crisp malt profile. This is a beer for BC's interior, with malt from our own local maltster and local hops, just right to complement our scorching summers. Made in Sorrento at Canada's first organic and sustainable on-farm brewery. 5.4% alc/vol. 47 IBU

Fernie Brewing - Ol' Willy Wit - Belgian White Ale (1 token) – A Belgian White Ale with light and spicy citrus flavours. This unfiltered beer is brewed with a touch of coriander and orange peel, and is slightly cloudy. And downright delicious!

Brockton IPA (1 token) – A Well Hopped Northwest IPA. Brewed in the style of a Pacific Northwest India Pale Ale, this refreshing IPA is golden coloured and well hopped. It’s destined to become a highlight of this great city, just like its namesake in Stanley Park. 6% alc./vol.
Robson Street Hefeweizen (1 token) – An Unfiltered Wheat Ale. Robson Street Hefeweizen (hayfuh-vy-tzen), an unfiltered wheat ale, is brewed from a suspension of precious Bavarian yeast, generous amounts of malted wheat and German hops. A lemon wedge is the perfect accessory to the natural fruit flavours of this refreshing brew. 5% alc./vol.
Kitsilano Maple Cream (1 token) – A Smooth Cream Ale. Brewed with all natural ingredients, this bronze coloured ale offers a hint of pure Canadian maple syrup for a creamy smooth, not sweet flavour. Traditional Tettnang hops are used to balance this full flavoured ale giving it a dry, crisp finish. 5% alc./vol.

Notes of brown sugar and spice give complexity to this semi-dry sparkling cider. Pairing suggestions: Pears, walnuts, duck, pork, blue cheeses, aged cheddar, salty cured meats.
